What's the max temp of an infrared sauna

Our infrared saunas have a top setting of 150 or 151 degrees. Infrared sauna rarely get to those temperatures though. They usually operate between 130 degrees and 145 degrees, depending on room conditions. Infrared is thermal energy, so it heats up what it "bumps" into. A direct heat versus a heating of the air.
